But in Jupiter Artland you can. These sperm shaped benches top the terraced earthworks of Charles Jencks’ Life Mounds.
You can also see a crouching man made up of constellation points (Firmament, Antony Gormley), mirrors peeling away from a wall like flyposters (A Forest, Jim Lambie), some creepy girls throwing a tantrum (Weeping Girls, Laura Ford), and many other artworks.
It’s a fun place to explore and a nice day out from Edinburgh.

I really should get along there one day…. looks very interesting!
Hi Juliet, I would also recommend paying a little extra for the guided tour if you do go. It’s interesting to get a bit of an insight into how and why the artists chose their spots.
Love the bent mirrors and the crawling man. The tantrum throwing girl is a bit creepy for my tastes.
Hi Misha
Thanks for stopping by. I think the bent mirrors were my favourite. There are five tantrum-throwing girls lurking amongst the trees and none of them have faces. Very creepy!
The Creepy Girl definitely is as advertized… shudder!
Yup, they definitely make an impression!
